The Recycle Center will reopen on Wednesday, January 3, 2011, with
a fee of $25 per registration. You must go to the DPW Office, (located
at the Recycle Center), to pay and pick up your pass code.
We recycle the following items:
Used AntiFreeze
Stop in the D.P.W. office first to sign in and register quantity.
There is a maximum limit of 10 gallons. Call ahead if you have more to
see if there might be enough capacity. Do not mix with oil or any
other by-product. Must be pure, used antifreeze.
Used Motor Oil
Stop in the D.P.W. office first to sign in and register quantity.

synthetic motor oil).
Cardboard and Boxes
We take all flattened boxes along with flattened corrugated
cardboard and brown paper bags. No boxes with food residue, i.e. pizza
boxes.
Mixed Recyclables (plastic, glass and cans)
#1 - #7 household plastic containers only. (i.e. butter tubs, milk
jugs, etc.) Clear white, green, and brown glass. Soup cans, juice
cans, aluminum cans, etc. NOTE: All containers must be rinsed out with
no residues and if possible, labels removed.
Paper
Newspaper, shredded paper, copy paper, magazines, phone books, junk
mail and brown paper bags. Shredded or loose copy paper must be
bundled in a clear plastic bag. Please keep all paper as dry as
possible, wet paper is not recyclable.
We no longer can recycle batteries, or tires. Alkaline batteries
may be disposed of with regular household trash.
There will not be a Spring Clean Up/Household Hazardous Waste Day
for 2010.
